Eventide H9000, The Next Generation Harmonizer

Eventide H9000

Who would have thought we would see a new hardware effects box in 2018? Certainly not me, so this came as a complete surprise, but it is great to see Eventide continue to develop what is one of the most iconic bits of studio gear that has ever existed.

The new Eventide H9000 is a powerhouse compared to the original Harmonizers of the early 1980s and will no doubt offer pristine audio quality, and do so across 8 channels of analogue audio or up to 16 USB audio channels, using 4 quad core ARM processors which serve as 16 DSP engines.

Details are light on with regard to sample rates etc, but given the 24bit/96kHz of the H8000, it is guaranteed to be at least that, perhaps more. Keep an eye on the Eventide H9000 page as more details are added.
