Released in 1978, the Bel BF-20 Stereo Flanger was a true stereo analogue processor with two separate bucket-brigade delay circuits. It combined manual, envelope-controlled and automatic sweep modes with regeneration, external keying, mono operation and opposing left-to-right sweeps, allowing it to process stereo mixes or create stereo movement from mono sources.
