TEAC

TEAC is a Japanese electronics manufacturer with a major place in the history of magnetic tape recording and professional audio. The company produced an extensive range of reel-to-reel recorders, cassette decks and digital recording equipment, while its professional audio activities became closely associated with the TASCAM brand. Through TEAC and TASCAM, the company played an important role in the development of affordable multitrack recording, helping bring increasingly sophisticated recording technology into project studios, broadcast facilities and home studios.
