Acme Audio Manufacturing is a Detroit-based professional audio manufacturer specialising in analogue studio equipment inspired by classic American recording technology. Its range includes the Opticom valve optical limiters and carefully recreated Motown equipment, including the MTP-66 Motown Tube Preamp, Motown D.I. and Motown EQ. Several of these designs were developed from original Motown engineering schematics and equipment, preserving circuits associated with the legendary Detroit recording studios while adapting them for modern professional use.
