The Revolution EXP allows you to extend your workflow with ease. Use the eight inputs to connect external microphone preamps, analogue synthesisers, drum machines, or any line-level source. These inputs are ideal for tracking multichannel sources such as drum kits or ensemble performances. On the output side, route up to eight analogue signals to external processing chains, hardware compressors, stereo reverbs, or summing mixers.
The outputs can also be configured for surround and immersive speaker setups, including Dolby Atmos, or used for sending multiple cue mixes to performers. For producers working in-the-box, the added I/O transforms your DAW into a fully expanded hardware-integrated mixing environment.
The Black Lion Audio Revolution EXP features Black Lion Audio’s acclaimed Macro-MMC clocking technology, derived from their extensive expertise in professional word clocks and high-end interface modification. Macro-MMC not only keeps all digital devices locked in perfect synchronisation, it also delivers exceptionally low jitter performance.
This results in cleaner transients, improved stereo imaging, and greater clarity across the frequency spectrum. The Black Lion Audio Revolution EXP supports sample rates up to 192 kHz and includes word clock I/O, making it a flexible solution for use either as a master clock source or as a slave in larger clocked systems.
