The TASCAM 112 MkII integrates Dolby B and C noise reduction plus the Dolby HX Pro headroom extension system to extend high-frequency clarity by up to 6 dB without distortion. Three-point memory controls (LOC 1, LOC 2 and MEMO IN) and a four-digit index counter with Return-to-Zero streamline editing and critical listening.
Rear-mounted RCA inputs and outputs allow easy integration into any rig, with an optional LA-112 balanced connector kit providing XLR I/O. A 25-pin D-sub parallel port offers hands-off mastering via the RC-134 remote or fader start. Stereo VU meters and independent input dials guarantee precise level calibration.
