Building on the legacy of the acclaimed ADAM Audio S3A and S3X-H monitors, the ADAM Audio S3H continues ADAM Audio’s tradition of innovation, offering pristine sound reproduction, an exceptionally wide frequency range, and an accurate, three-dimensional soundstage.
The ADAM Audio S3H features dual 7-inch (178mm) HexaCone bass drivers powered by a 500-watt Class D amplifier, delivering deep, distortion-free bass down to 30Hz with tight control and power. A 4-inch (102mm) DCH hybrid dome/cone midrange driver, driven by a 300-watt Class D amplifier, covers the critical 250Hz–3kHz range, combining the speed and precision of a dome with the dynamic depth of a cone for outstanding midrange detail.
For the high frequencies, ADAM’s hand-built S-ART (Accelerated Ribbon Technology) tweeter, paired with a precision-engineered HPS (High Precision Waveguide) and a 50-watt Class A/B amplifier, extends response to 50kHz, producing effortless clarity, natural air, and a wide sweet spot.
At the heart of the ADAM Audio S3H is a custom DSP engine that optimises crossover behaviour and frequency response across all drivers, ensuring perfect phase alignment and consistent performance. The DSP also provides extensive user equalisation, in-room voicing, and tuning options. It includes a factory EQ preset that emulates the legendary ADAM Audio S3A monitor response for users familiar with its tonal balance.
Additional DSP functions include limiter-based high-frequency driver protection, AES3 digital input processing, and future-ready expansion options. A USB interface enables firmware updates and full control of the DSP functions via computer software.
With a total RMS output of 1,350 watts, a frequency response of 30Hz–50kHz, and maximum SPL of 126dB per pair, the ADAM Audio S3H delivers full-range monitoring without the need for a subwoofer.
