The midrange is handled by a 4-inch (102mm) DCH hybrid dome/cone driver made from carbon composite, powered by a 300-watt Class D amplifier. This driver merges the advantages of both cone and dome designs, achieving seamless integration, natural tonal balance, and pinpoint midrange clarity.
High frequencies are reproduced by ADAM Audio’s handmade S-ART (Accelerated Ribbon Technology) tweeter, driven by a 100-watt Class D amplifier and housed in a precision-milled aluminium HPS (High-frequency Propagation System) waveguide for pristine highs and expansive stereo imaging up to 50kHz.
To ensure consistent off-axis performance, the ADAM Audio S5H incorporates both the MPS (Mid-range Propagation System) and HPS waveguides, maintaining phase accuracy and a broad, stable sweet spot ideal for multi-engineer environments.
