The Audient ASP880 is an 8-channel microphone preamplifier and high-performance A-D converter, designed to expand your existing audio interface via ADAT, AES, or S/PDIF.
Housed in a compact 1U rackmount chassis, it offers eight console-grade Audient mic preamps, each with 60 dB of gain, switchable phantom power, polarity reverse, -10 dB pad, variable impedance, and variable high-pass filters.
Its precision converters deliver class-leading clarity, capturing every nuance of your source audio with stunning detail and ultra-low noise. Two JFET instrument inputs emulate classic valve amp front-ends for harmonically rich direct recordings, while eight balanced insert points allow integration of outboard gear before A-D conversion.
