This 4.5-way active modular tower system delivers an astonishing 3,500 watts of total power and extends low-frequency reproduction down to 18Hz.
Each tower comprises two stacked enclosures: an upper module featuring a 1-inch (25mm) ring radiator tweeter, two 2.5-inch (64mm) midrange drivers, and three 7-inch (178mm) woofers; and a lower module housing four 12-inch (305mm) aluminium Dual-Force™ subwoofers. A separate control and power distribution base can serve as an optional decoupling platform, ensuring optimal system integration and isolation.
Unlike conventional 4-way systems, the Barefoot MasterStack12’s 4.5-way configuration allows all three woofers to share the low-frequency load, reducing distortion and increasing efficiency, while only two extend into the upper crossover region to maintain smooth directional response. This approach results in a highly coherent sound field with exceptional phase accuracy, transient speed, and linearity across the entire frequency spectrum.
The Dual-Force™ subwoofer design eliminates cabinet resonance by mounting opposing subwoofers back-to-back, cancelling mechanical vibrations at their source for clean, distortion-free low-end reproduction.
Barefoot’s advanced MEME™ (Multi Emphasis Monitor Emulation) technology provides four distinct monitoring modes, enabling the Barefoot MasterStack12 to emulate the sonic behaviour of classic studio monitors.
With the supplied remote controller, users can instantly switch between “Flat” for transparent reference listening, “Hi-Fi” for a more relaxed tonal character, “Old School” for the NS10M-inspired sound, and “Cube” for the mid-forward character of traditional mix cubes. This flexibility allows engineers to check mix translation without switching between multiple monitor sets, preserving the optimal listening position.
The Barefoot MasterStack12 is available in the signature Barefoot Black finish or an optional Alpine White, with or without integrated handles for installation convenience.
