Each driver utilises an under-hung voice coil and advanced geometry motor for extended linear movement and piston-like precision across multiple octaves. The ring radiator tweeter ensures detailed high frequencies and wide dispersion, while the subwoofers, woofers, and midrange drivers deliver clarity and impact with flawless coherence. Engineered in collaboration with Bruno Putzeys of Hypex, the amplifier stage achieves unmatched transparency, and the advanced DSP crossover unites the system into a seamless, phase-coherent sound field that remains perfectly accurate even when listening at close distances.
Adding further versatility, the Barefoot MiniMain12 incorporates Barefoot’s innovative MEME™ (Multi Emphasis Monitor Emulation) technology, allowing users to emulate the sonic characteristics of classic studio monitors and hi-fi systems. With a simple control knob, engineers can switch between four voicing modes: “Flat” for the most linear and revealing sound, “Hi-Fi” for a smoother consumer reference, “Old School” emulating the classic Yamaha NS10M, and “Cube” mimicking the focused midrange of vintage mix cubes.
