The Boss PQ-50 is a compact half-rack 4-band parametric equaliser that provides individual control of frequency, Q curve and level for each band. The Low and High bands can be configured as peak or shelving filters, allowing broad tonal shaping or precise adjustments.
An Equalizer switch selects In or Out modes, and the mode can also be changed using a pedal switch via the Equalizer Remote jack, making A/B comparisons of equalised and un-equalised signals straightforward. A dedicated Overload indicator assists in setting appropriate signal levels without distortion.
The Boss PQ-50 integrates neatly in studio or live rigs and can be mounted in a standard 482.6 mm rack using the optional RAD-50 rackmount adaptor. Power is supplied by an AC12 V adaptor from the BRA-120, 220 or 240 series.
