Dynaudio M3FX Centre Studio Monitor is the dedicated centre-channel version of the M3FX system, intended for high-power monitoring in large film and television post-production studios where the console can be up to 8m from the screen. This 3-way hybrid loudspeaker system is designed to integrate seamlessly with the left and right M3FX monitors. When combined with Dynaudio subwoofers and surround speakers, the Dynaudio M3FX Centre Studio Monitor forms the core of an immersive monitoring system suitable for formats including Dolby Atmos HE 7.1.4, 9.1.4, and full theatrical multi-channel presentation.
The bass section of the Dynaudio M3FX Centre Studio Monitor uses four 300mm Magnesium Silicate Polymer low-distortion drivers, each fitted with 100mm ferrofluid-cooled voice coils to deliver high output with control and stability. The midrange section consists of two 170mm drive units with 75mm voice coils and neodymium magnets, providing clarity and focus across critical dialogue ranges. High frequencies are reproduced by the D260H soft-dome tweeter with a short waveguide, while a high-power passive crossover manages integration between the midrange and high-frequency sections. The system is supplied as a two-way active design, with recommended amplification from Dynaudio Acoustics DA series amplifiers with onboard DSP or DCA series power amplifiers with built-in filters.
