The Eve Audio TS107 is a compact active subwoofer designed to extend the low-frequency performance of studio monitoring systems with precision and control. As the smallest model in the ThunderStorm subwoofer range from EVE Audio, the Eve Audio TS107 is intended for professional studios, project rooms, and high-quality home setups where accurate bass reproduction is required without introducing port noise or unwanted distortion. The TS107 complements a wide range of nearfield monitors, adding depth and impact while maintaining tight integration with satellite speakers.
The Eve Audio TS107 is built around a proprietary 6.5 inch woofer driven by an efficient 100 W PWM amplifier. This combination delivers controlled low-frequency performance with a frequency range extending from 36 Hz up to 300 Hz and a maximum sound pressure level of 102 dB measured at one metre. The compact enclosure makes the TS107 suitable for smaller rooms, while still providing sufficient output to complete a full-range monitoring system.
A key element of the Eve Audio TS107 design is its use of a passive radiator instead of a conventional bass reflex port. This approach eliminates audible noise caused by air turbulence and avoids pipe resonances that can occur in ported designs. The passive radiator also reduces subsonic excursions and intermodulation distortion, allowing lower tuning frequencies in a compact cabinet while maintaining clean and precise bass reproduction.
The TS107 incorporates high-resolution DSP electronics that operate exclusively on the subwoofer signal path. A BurrBrown high-resolution converter is used to manage bass driver operation, while the signal path to the satellite outputs remains purely analogue, with no A/D or D/A conversion. When the Pure Satellite function is activated, the subwoofer and DSP filter section are completely bypassed, allowing only satellite volume adjustment and preserving signal integrity to the main monitors.
System control is handled via the integrated SMART-knob located on the rear panel. This rotary control allows users to adjust volume, filters, and system parameters directly on the subwoofer, with settings that can be locked to prevent accidental changes and retained even when the unit is powered off. The Eve Audio TS107 is also supplied with a dedicated remote control, enabling adjustment of subwoofer level and overall system volume from the listening position.
Connectivity is comprehensive, with balanced XLR stereo inputs and outputs, dedicated LFE input and LFE or subwoofer output, and an additional unbalanced input for direct connection to compatible compact monitors. Additional features include switchable satellite filters, selectable phase options at 0 or 180 degrees, adjustable subwoofer crossover frequencies from 60 Hz to 140 Hz, and a safe fade-in function that gradually raises volume on power-up to protect both listeners and equipment.
