Genelec 8331A Studio Monitor Details

The Genelec 8331A is an exceptional three-way point-source studio monitor, offered in a compact form factor that belies its precision and versatility. Ideal for small control rooms or ultra-nearfield applications, it belongs to Genelec’s The Ones series and delivers studio-reference performance in a space-efficient package.

Its advanced design features Smart Active Monitoring (SAM™) with GLM™ calibration software, enabling the monitor to adapt its level, timing and equalisation to your listening environment for reliable translation of mixes.

The Genelec 8331A employs Minimum Diffraction Coaxial (MDC™) driver technology to provide coherent mid- and high-frequency response from a compact source, ensuring excellent imaging, consistent dispersion and minimal listener fatigue over long sessions.

With a specified short-term maximum SPL of 104 dB and a frequency response from 45 Hz to 37 kHz (-6 dB) it is well suited for high-precision production, post-production or immersive-audio work where space is at a premium.
