The system delivers a wide bandwidth frequency response from 25Hz to 22kHz and is capable of producing up to 130dB SPL with exceptional bass authority and centre image stability.
At the core of the Ocean Way Audio HR3.5-FL Reference Monitor is a proprietary integrated dual hybrid waveguide architecture, forming a mechanically time aligned system that combines a 1 inch high frequency compression driver and an 8 inch low frequency driver with twin 12 inch sub bass drivers per channel. This configuration is driven by a tri-amped amplification system delivering a total of 3400 watts per channel. The supplied A-4100 amplifier system incorporates Ocean Way Audio voicing modules and is connected via dedicated 15 foot cabling, ensuring consistent system tuning and performance regardless of installation method.
The geometrically complex dual hybrid waveguide system is responsible for the Ocean Way Audio HR3.5-FL Reference Monitor’s ultra wide and tightly controlled dispersion pattern of 100 degrees horizontally and 40 degrees vertically.
