The PreSonus Quantum HD 8 USB Type-C Audio Interface delivers twenty-six inputs and thirty outputs at thirty-two-bit depth and one hundred and ninety-two kilohertz sampling resolution and includes a perpetual licence for the Studio One Professional digital audio workstation.
The PreSonus Quantum HD 8 is the result of thirty years of innovation and features eight newly designed high-definition MAX-HD microphone preamplifiers providing up to seventy-five decibels of gain, making the PreSonus Quantum HD 8 ideally suited to today’s most popular microphones.
Its front-facing instrument inputs were co-developed with Fender engineers to meet the needs of guitarists and bassists, and the Auto Gain function automatically sets recording levels for microphones and instruments.
Two re-amplification outputs allow audio from the digital audio workstation to be routed back to a guitar or bass amplifier and re-recorded with different amplifier and pedal combinations and microphone placements.
An illuminated push encoder gives precise control over gain level and output volume, and bright responsive light-emitting diode metering provides clear visual feedback of output levels.
Custom low-latency drivers together with low-noise analogue-to-digital and digital-to-analogue converters ensure high-fidelity performance, and the Universal Control application offers comprehensive control and metering from desktop computer, tablet computer or mobile telephone, making the PreSonus Quantum HD 8 ideal for both project studios and full-band recording environments.
