TK Audio T-Komp
The TK Audio T-Komp is a dual-mono compressor featuring a progressive ratio curve that increases with threshold, two ratio ranges for tracking or bus duties, selectable feed-forward or feed-back modes, five RMS detector speeds including a 160 VU-style and adaptive mode, plus a sixteen-step blend for parallel compression and a 150 Hz high-pass filter.

TK Audio T-Komp Compressor Details

TK Audio T-Komp is a dual-mono compressor that offers a progressive ratio curve which increases with the threshold level, providing both modern punch and smooth musical control. The TK Audio T-Komp features two ratio ranges, up to 20:1 for aggressive instrument tracking and drum smashing, and up to 2:1 for subtle bus compression.

You can select feed-forward mode for a punchy response or feed-back mode for a gentler character. A five-setting root-mean-square detector ranges from fast to slow, including a classic 160 VU-style response, plus an adaptive mode that adjusts attack and release according to programme material. A sixteen-step blend control enables easy parallel compression.

A high-pass filter at 150 Hz prevents low-frequency build-up, and a gain-reduction meter provides visual feedback. All controls of the TK Audio T-Komp are clearly labelled and the compressor delivers up to +26 dBu I/O level with better than 94 dB signal-to-noise ratio at 0 dBu, making it ideal for both tracking and bus duties.
