The AKG C391 B is a high-performance condenser microphone available in a grey finish. Designed for professional audio applications, this model is part of AKG's condenser microphone range.

AKG C391 B Condenser Microphone Details

The AKG C391 B is constructed as a combination of the Blue Line Series CK91 microphone capsule and the SE300 pre-amplifier. This design facilitates the quick interchange of the capsule with other capsules from the Blue Line Series, making it suitable for demanding broadcast applications. The microphone delivers a bright and brilliant sound characterised by low self-noise and very good transient response.

The AKG C391 B features a precise cardioid polar pattern, which provides uncoloured sound quality and high gain before feedback. It includes a switchable attenuation pad that enables high-SPL applications up to 144 dB. A switchable bass-cut filter is also available to eliminate rumble or footfall noise. The control system provides a switchable bass roll-off/attenuator with three positions: flat, 75 Hz, and 10 dB attenuation.

Powering is achieved via universal phantom power, supporting voltages from 9 to 52 V. The audio output is a balanced male 3-pin XLR connector. The physical design features a dark grey finish. The package includes one SE300 Powering/Output Module, one CK91 Microphone Capsule, one W90 Windscreen, and one SA60 Stand Adaptor.
