The Audient iD48 is equipped with eight balanced analogue insert points via D-sub connectors, allowing seamless integration of outboard gear before A/D conversion. With Audient’s new Switchable Analogue Insert technology, users can select whether the audio path is fed by the internal mic preamp or an external DAW signal on a per-channel basis, enabling flexible routing for tracking or mixing with hardware.
Expandability is built in through ADAT and S/PDIF optical I/O, allowing up to 16 additional channels for future-proof studio growth.
