The Eve Audio EXO 27 is an active two-way studio monitor designed as the most powerful and versatile model in the EXO Series, delivering uncompromising sound quality for demanding professional environments. Intended for producers, audio engineers, and control rooms where high output, linear response, and reliability are essential, the Eve Audio EXO 27 combines extended low-frequency depth with precise directivity and advanced system control. Its controlled dispersion characteristics make the EXO 27 well suited to immersive formats such as Dolby Atmos and other multi-channel applications, while four M6 threaded mounting points on the underside of the enclosure support flexible installation in complex monitoring setups.
At the heart of the Eve Audio EXO 27 is a newly developed acoustic design that defines the EXO Series. High-frequency reproduction is handled by the EXO Precision AirMotion Tweeter combined with the GDC Waveguide, delivering a wide and consistent sweet spot, stable stereo imaging, and controlled dispersion across the listening area. Constructed from ultra-lightweight polyamide, the tweeter provides fast transient response, high efficiency, and accurate high-frequency reproduction with minimal distortion, supporting precise spatial localisation in both stereo and immersive systems.
Low and mid-frequency performance is delivered by a 6.5 inch CAL woofer using a coated aluminium diaphragm. The lightweight aluminium cone, resonance-damped dust cap, and optimised magnet system produce deep, punchy bass while maintaining clarity and transparency in the midrange. This balance allows the Eve Audio EXO 27 to translate detailed mixes accurately to larger playback systems while retaining control and definition at higher sound pressure levels.
The acoustic system is housed in an airflow-optimised LDE enclosure designed to minimise diffraction and unwanted reflections. The curved cabinet with smooth, rounded edges supports clean sound dispersion and improved imaging accuracy. Enhanced rear-facing bass reflex ports with optimised aerodynamics enable deeper low-frequency extension while significantly reducing port noise, ensuring controlled and accurate bass reproduction even at elevated listening levels.
Workflow integration is a central element of the Eve Audio EXO 27 design. A rear-mounted OLED display combined with an integrated SMART Control Knob provides intuitive, on-speaker control of key parameters such as output level, room adaptation filters, and input source selection. Integrated Ethernet connectivity allows access to software-based control, calibration, and future firmware updates, while Wake-on-Signal functionality enables fast session start-up. The illuminated Eve Audio logo on the front panel functions as a multi-colour status indicator, providing real-time feedback on operating states, protection modes, and firmware activity, with adjustable brightness to suit different studio environments.
