Its controlled dispersion characteristics make it particularly well suited to immersive formats such as Dolby Atmos, while four M6 threaded mounting points on the underside of the enclosure allow flexible and secure installation in complex multi-channel setups.
At the core of the Eve Audio EXO 28 is the advanced EXO Series acoustic design. High-frequency reproduction is handled by the EXO Precision AirMotion Tweeter paired with the GDC Waveguide, delivering wide and consistent dispersion, stable stereo imaging, and precise spatial definition even at high listening levels. Manufactured from ultra-lightweight polyamide, the tweeter provides extremely fast transient response, high efficiency, and accurate high-frequency reproduction with minimal distortion, supporting reliable localisation and spatial coherence in both stereo and immersive monitoring applications.
Low and mid-frequency performance is delivered by a powerful 8 inch CAL woofer using a coated aluminium diaphragm. The lightweight aluminium cone, resonance-damped dust cap, and refined magnet system allow the Eve Audio EXO 28 to produce ultra-deep, tightly controlled bass with impressive dynamics and exceptionally low distortion. This design ensures accurate translation, strong transient impact, and confident low-frequency monitoring for demanding mixing and mastering work.
The acoustic system is housed in an airflow-optimised LDE enclosure designed to minimise diffraction and unwanted edge reflections. The curved cabinet with smooth, rounded edges supports a neutral and spatially detailed soundstage, while optimised rear-facing bass reflex ports improve airflow to extend low-frequency response and significantly reduce port noise. This enclosure design contributes to the EXO 28’s clean, controlled, and highly accurate sonic presentation.
System control and workflow efficiency are central to the Eve Audio EXO 28 design. A rear-mounted OLED display combined with an integrated SMART Control Knob provides intuitive access to key system parameters such as output level, room adaptation filters, and input source selection. Integrated Ethernet connectivity enables software-based control, precise calibration, and future firmware updates, while Wake-on-Signal functionality allows immediate session start-up. The illuminated Eve Audio logo on the front panel functions as a multi-colour status indicator, offering real-time feedback on operating states, protection modes, and firmware activity, with adjustable brightness to suit different studio environments.
