KRK V6 Series 4 Powered Studio Monitor is a two-way, full-range active studio reference monitor designed for professional recording, mixing, and mastering applications. As part of the V Series 4 range, the KRK V6 Series 4 Powered Studio Monitor blends modern DSP-based control with the design principles that established KRK as an industry standard in professional studios over the past three decades. Its larger cabinet and extended low-frequency performance make it well suited to mid-sized control rooms and more demanding monitoring environments.
The KRK V6 Series 4 Powered Studio Monitor features a 1 inch KRK custom-designed Kevlar tweeter paired with a 6.5 inch lightweight woven Kevlar woofer. Using Kevlar for both high and low frequency drivers delivers smooth, uncoloured midrange detail, a clean and precise high end, and a tight, controlled low-frequency response. This driver combination also provides a wide listening sweet spot with accurate stereo imaging, supporting confident mix decisions.
A 155 watt KRK designed bi-amped Class D amplifier powers the system, delivering fast transient response and a maximum sound pressure level of up to 115 dB. Dedicated amplification for each driver ensures optimal control and efficiency, maintaining clarity and impact across the full operating range. The optimised front-ported bass reflex enclosure reduces boundary coupling, allowing flexible placement near walls or on desks without excessive low-frequency build-up.
Integrated DSP provides 49 selectable EQ presets, enabling precise correction for room acoustics, desk reflections, and speaker placement, as well as user preference tailoring. A solid aluminium front baffle combined with an EVA foam pad improves cabinet stability, transient accuracy, and stereo imaging by reducing unwanted resonances. Rear-panel controls include input level attenuation, standby, ground lift, input sensitivity selection, and logo LED control. An optional protective grille is included, making the KRK V6 Series 4 Powered Studio Monitor suitable for mobile broadcast and transport-sensitive applications.
