KRK V8 Series 4 Powered Studio Monitor is a two-way, full-range active studio reference monitor designed for professional recording, mixing, and mastering applications. As the largest model in the V Series 4 range, the KRK V8 Series 4 Powered Studio Monitor is intended for larger control rooms and more demanding monitoring environments, delivering high output capability with accurate, controlled sound reproduction.
The KRK V8 Series 4 Powered Studio Monitor features a 1 inch KRK custom designed Kevlar tweeter and an 8 inch lightweight KRK custom designed woven Kevlar woofer. Using Kevlar for both high and low frequency drivers provides smooth midrange definition without colouration, a clean and detailed high end, and a tight, controlled low-frequency response. This driver combination also delivers a wide sweet spot and precise stereo imaging, allowing confident mix decisions across a broad listening area.
A 230 watt KRK designed bi-amped Class D amplification system powers the monitor, delivering fast transient response and a maximum sound pressure level of up to 118 dB. Dedicated amplification for each driver ensures efficient power delivery and consistent performance at both low and high listening levels. The optimised front-ported bass reflex enclosure design reduces boundary coupling, allowing flexible placement close to walls or on desks without excessive low-frequency build-up.
Integrated DSP provides 49 selectable EQ presets, enabling accurate correction for room acoustics, desk reflections, and speaker placement, as well as adjustment to personal listening preferences. The solid aluminium front baffle and integrated EVA foam pad improve cabinet stability, transient response, and stereo imaging by reducing unwanted resonance. Rear-panel controls include input level attenuation, standby, ground lift, input sensitivity selection, and logo LED control. An optional protective grille is included, making the KRK V8 Series 4 Powered Studio Monitor suitable for mobile broadcast and transport-sensitive applications.
