The TASCAM IF-88SD is an optional half-rack interface card for the TASCAM DA-88 that provides true SDIF-2 digital I/O for seamless transfers to and from DASH recorders. It installs in one of the TASCAM DA-88’s expansion slots and uses TASCAM’s PW-SD1 and PW-SD2 breakout cables to carry eight channels of digital audio in each direction without any analogue conversion.
