The Universal Audio Volt 876 USB Recording Studio delivers legendary analogue-inspired sound in a modern digital interface designed for professional recording. Built with next-generation 32-bit / 192 kHz audio conversion, it provides eight digitally controlled microphone preamps with selectable Vintage mode, recreating the tone and warmth of UA’s classic 610 tube preamp. Each channel also includes UA’s 76 Compressor circuit, inspired by the renowned 1176 Limiting Amplifier, to add clarity, punch, and presence to vocals, instruments, and drums.
With 24-in / 28-out connectivity, Volt 876 integrates seamlessly into professional setups, offering 8 x 8 analogue I/O, front-panel mic/line inputs with Hi-Z switching, and 16 x 16 ADAT connections. Users can link up to three Universal Audio Volt 876 units to form a 24-channel system or connect with Apollo and other ADAT-equipped gear. The interface also features an onboard talkback microphone, two headphone amps, 48V phantom power per channel, and stylish, rugged construction with both desktop and rackmount options.
Universal Audio Volt 876 comes bundled with the UAD Producer Suite, including premium plug-ins such as Teletronix LA-2A, UA 1176, Pultec EQs, PolyMAX Synth, and the Showtime ’64 Tube Amp. Paired with LUNA Digital Audio Workstation, it delivers hardware-software integration with unlimited tracks, Assistive Auto-Gain, full session recall, and AI-powered tools like Voice Control, Instrument Detection, and Tempo Listen. This makes the Volt 876 ideal for producers, bands, and studios seeking big studio sound in a versatile and expandable system.
