Z&H Designs ME-250DX Stereo Mastering Equaliser is a premium mastering equaliser inspired by the legendary Sontec MEP-250, designed to deliver surgical precision, natural sound, and modern mastering workflow enhancements.
As the mastering version of the HVC250 Stereo Parametric Equaliser, the Z&H Designs ME-250DX provides over 100 selectable frequency points, with boost and cut increments as fine as 0.5dB for meticulous adjustments.
All-discrete high-voltage ±28V op-amps ensure a remarkable slew rate exceeding 30V/µs, offering ultra-high resolution, extended bandwidth, and virtually lossless operation. Each channel includes five parallel EQ bands with stepped controls, bypass toggles, and selectable ±5dB or ±10dB ranges.
The addition of an onboard analogue M/S processor built with THAT chips enables advanced mid/side or left/right processing without external hardware. Precision is guaranteed with hand-matching to less than 1% across both channels of the Z&H Designs ME-250DX, ensuring curves align perfectly when tested.
With a 56V linear power supply for each channel, ultra-low distortion below 0.001%, and noise levels below -95dBu, the Z&H Designs ME-250DX combines boutique-grade build quality with exceptional sonic transparency.
