The Behringer VIRTUALIZER 3D FX2000 features 71 algorithms that include true studio-grade stereo and 3D effects, powerful modulation, amp simulation, distortion, and special effects. The unit employs RSM (Real Sound Modelling) technology to simulate acoustic environments with high accuracy, while performance is enhanced through user-addressable high and low EQ and wave-adaptive Virtual Room reverbs.
User editability is supported by logical grouping of parameters, encoders, buttons, LEDs, and an LED display. Users can edit up to 7 parameters per preset and save them to 100 provided memory locations. The processor includes extensive MIDI capability, allowing integration into MIDI setups and data saving via SysEx.
Beyond reverb and delay, the Behringer VIRTUALIZER 3D FX2000 provides modulation effects such as chorus, flanger, and phaser, along with special variations including a musical pitch shifter, tremolo, and rotating speaker simulation. The unit features 11 effect combinations with selectable serial or parallel configuration, and each effect includes up to 7 adjustable parameters plus 2-band EQ.
Signal processing is handled by 24-bit A/D and D/A converters with 64/128-times oversampling, supporting true stereo processing for realistic channel separation. The interface includes accurate LED level metres for level setting, and connectivity is provided via servo-balanced XLR and 1/4″ TRS inputs and outputs.
