Digital Converters

Classic Recording Studio Equipment

Digital Converters are a key component in music creation and come in one of two forms; an analogue to digital converter, or a digital to analogue converter. In some cases and single device will do both. The quality of these converters ultimately determine the final sound quality of the music run through them.

The Burl Audio B2 Bomber ADC is a high quality 2-channel 192kHz analog to digital converter.
The Crane Song Solaris Quantum DAC is a 2 channel Digital-to-Analog Converter, designed by Dave Hill. It is centred around a 32-bit converter and 32 bit ASRC (Asynchronous Sample Rate Converter) that up-samples to 211kHz in order to reduce jitter.
Painstakingly designed without compromise, adhering only to the core philosophies of “transparent, yet musical” that have come to define Dangerous, the CONVERTAD+ is profoundly detailed, to capture your sound with an unrestricted, potent low end and an unhyped clarity that holds true from the midrange through the open top end.
Crane Song HEDD Quantum Harmonically Enhance Digital Device is a stereo AD/DA with DSP tape and tube colour, sub pico second jitter and clock generator.
The SPL Mercury is the first mastering DA-converter in 120V technology. It offers seven digital stereo input sources, all of which can be synchronized with each other or with a word clock. The additional variable output qualifies Mercury as a monitor controller.
The WesAudio Calypso AD/DA Converter is a digital audio interface designed to work in 500 series enclosure.
The Rupert Neve MBC is the ultimate tool for creating digital signals with the tone, transparency, and power expected from Rupert Neve Designs.
