Throughout his career, Puig has collaborated with notable musicians such as Tonic, Hole, Jellyfish, The Black Crowes, John Mayer, Weezer, Fiona Apple, Roger Hodgson, Taxiride, Green Day, Counting Crows, No Doubt, Klaxons, Rancid, Panic! at the Disco, Stone Temple Pilots, U2, and many others.

His contributions to these projects have been recognized with Grammy Awards, which he has shared with esteemed artists like The Goo Goo Dolls, Sheryl Crow, Vanessa Carlton, John Mayer, Fergie (The Black Eyed Peas), U2, and No Doubt.

In addition to his success as an audio engineer and producer, Jack Joseph Puig has also made significant contributions as an executive in the music industry. In 2006, he assumed the role of Executive Vice President at Interscope-Geffen-A&M Records, where he played a pivotal role in talent scouting and signing artists.

Among the artists he has worked with in this capacity are Klaxons and Charlotte Sometimes. As an A&R executive, Jack Joseph Puig has collaborated with the likes of Shirley Manson, Ashlee Simpson, Klaxons, Charlotte Sometimes, Counting Crows, Puddle of Mudd, and The Like.

Prior to his remarkable achievements in mainstream music production, Jack Joseph Puig rose to prominence in the mid-eighties as an engineer in the Contemporary Christian music scene. During this period, he primarily worked on releases from Myrrh Records and contributed his engineering talents to Christian acts such as Amy Grant, Kathy Troccoli, Leslie Phillips, and Russ Taff. Puig’s engineering prowess was particularly evident on Grammy-award winning works like Grant’s groundbreaking 1985 LP, “Unguarded.”

With a multifaceted career that spans various genres and roles within the music industry, Jack Joseph Puig has established himself as a highly respected and influential figure. With his Puigchild Studio setup, he has amassed a huge range of outboard effects to make anyone envious. Much of the gear is quite rare, such as the Collins and Gates compressors, and yet to be added to the Vintage Digital website. We have included many of the outboard effects from his days at Ocean Way Studios (His amazing setup that everyone recognises) as it offers an insight into hit mixing history.
