Everything old is new again, or so it seems of late! Klark Teknik have decided to remake the classic Roland Dimension D BBD-320 Chorus that was a staple in studios of the 1980s. In making the new Klark Teknik 3rd Dimension BBD-320 it is clear they have decided not to hide the heritage of this device at all, with styling cues taken straight from the original Roland, and even the naming is similar.

I think it is safe to assume they have licensed this product from Roland directly, in which case you have to wonder why Roland themselves chose not to remake it as they are doing with their older drum machines and keyboards. Either way, we benefit from being able to buy one of the fantastic chorus boxes, without having to pay the rather steep prices original models go for these days.
